Meet Henry Keith Cavaliere, the Teflon Pedophile

This story is a perfect example of why so many are fed up with the justice system in America.

The smirking scumbag in the mugshot is serial pedophile Henry Keith Cavaliere. Why is he so smug? Probably because he knows he's about to get off scot-free. You see, since 1995, Cavaliere has been arrested not one, not two, not three, not four, but five times for child sex offenses, and he's yet to spend a single day in prison for his actions. In fact, he has never even been ordered to register into Florida's sex offender database! How is this possible? Let's review:

• Feb. 4, 1995: Arrested on two counts of capital sexual battery on child victims. One case is dropped, one is reduced to a misdemeanor. Serves 54 days in jail and one year probation.

• Oct. 13, 1997: Arrested on charges of sexual battery and lewd assault. Pleads no contest to misdemeanor battery. Serves one year probation.

• April 29, 2009: Arrested on two felony charges of sexual performance by a minor. But formal charges are not filed and the case is dropped.

• Sept. 14, 2009: Arrested on 12 felony charges of possession of child pornography. Charges reduced to misdemeanors (the detective working the case suffered a mental breakdown caused by looking at so many disturbing images of children and failed to appear in court), gets six years' probation.

• April 26, 2012: Arrested on charges of a lewd or lascivious act on a young girl. The charge is upgraded to capital sexual battery, and the case is pending. He immediately posted the ridiculously low $50,000 bail and waltzed right out of jail.

This guy is lucky. Like, win the Lottery twice in a row lucky. Even a relative and former victim has said "he could fall into a pile of shit and come out smelling like roses." Combine his never ending good fortune with the stunning incompetence of the justice system, and you have the Teflon Pedophile.

Let's hope that officials do their damn job this time and send this degenerate away for good. Given his history, there is NO excuse for him to receive anything less than life in prison. If he isn't the poster boy for a career child predator and all around danger to society, I don't know who is. 

If he gets off yet again, I really wouldn't be surprised if a parent of one of the victims decided to remove luck from the equation and take matters into their own hands. And in that case, I hope the court would show the same leniency they've given this monster for the past 17 years.

California Man Arrested On Child Molestation Charges

Cody Burrows, 21, was arrested last night in Willows, CA, on suspicion of molesting a child under the age of 14.

Authorities have said that the victim is female, but no other information has been made available.

Burrows has been booked into Butte County Jail, with his bail set at $315,000.

According to his Facebook page, which you can view here, he is a 2009 graduate of Willows High School. He appears to be something of a thespian, as he took part in the Willows High School Friday Night Live program, and went on to attend Butte College for acting. 

Burrows' charge carries a possible sentence of three, six or eight years in state prison. On the bright side, even if he's convicted, he'll have a lot of free time to pursue his acting career. The role of Bubba's prison punk may not have been his first choice, but I'm sure he'll be forced to give an Oscar-caliber performance nonetheless.

San Jose Sleazeball Accused of Sex Crimes Against Young, Disabled

To your left is Waking Bailey, a 33-year-old waste of human flesh who has spent years preying upon the weak and vulnerable for his own sexual pleasure.

He is alleged to have molested two young girls while working at Eastfield Ming Quong, a Los Gatos, California facility that houses children who are dependents of the court.

One of the girls was 12-years-old when she was assaulted in 2009, and another was molested over a three year period when she was between the ages of 6 and 9. This victim claims Bailey showed her explicit images on his iPhone to show her what to do. Nauseating.

As if this wasn't bad enough, he is also charged with sexually assaulting an 18-year-old girl he met while working at AchieveKids - a center for developmentally disabled youngsters. She is said to have the mental age of a 5 or 6 year old.

Bailey faces three felony counts of lewd act on a child and one count of rape of an incapable person. He is facing 53 years to life in prison.

Assistant Principal Arrested on Child Sex Charges in North Carolina

Myron Padgett Hendrix, 54, of Burlington, NC, faces two counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor.

Second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor is defined as recording, photographing, or filming a minor under the age of 18 engaged in sexual activity. The charges each carry a sentence of between 10 and 49 months

Adding to the disturbing nature of the news is the fact that he was the assistant principal at Northeastern Randolph Middle School (though it appears the victim was not a student at the school). Due to the charges, he was forced to resign on May 18.

Hendrix was placed in Randolph County Jail on a $50,000 bond.

Houston Area Coach Arrested for Sexually Assaulting 13-Year-Old Player

Ryan Loofboro, 34, faces charges of Aggravated Sexual Assault and Indecency with a Child after a 13-year-old player on his youth softball team came forward to parents and police in May.

The two counts carry a combined $80,000 bail fee, which I find absurdly low. Even if he makes bail, however, he isn't legally allowed to come anywhere near his former players.

The Friendswood (Texas) Girls Softball Association requires background checks for all coaches and even the team moms who are going to be on the field. Loofboro, like many predators, had a clean record, so this wasn't a case of carelessness on their part.

Friendswood police are continuing to investigate whether Loofboro had any other victims.

Arizona School Board Member Arrested on Child Porn Charges

Jere Robert Hansen, 63, owns a successful private accounting practice in Casa Grande, AZ. He is a member of the school board. He serves as an official at youth soccer games.  

By all accounts, Hansen is a respected member of the community.

No longer.

On Thursday morning, detectives with the Arizona Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force served a search warrant on Hansen’s business, looking for child pornography. According to authorities, Hansen had several items of child porn in his possession.

He now faces 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor. This is a class 2 felony in Arizona, and punishable by 10 to 24 years in prison.

It's always most jarring when a seemingly upstanding member of the community - someone you'd least expect - is caught for something like this. Especially when he had such close contact with children. Thankfully, his charges are extremely serious, and he will be spending a long time behind bars, where he belongs.

Alabama Mom Convicted of Sexually Abusing, Torturing Own Daughter

A Limestone County jury has convicted Suzanne Bennison, 45, of Athens, AL, of first-degree sexual abuse and sexual torture involving her 6-year-old daughter in 2008.

Bennison was accused of touching her daughter's genitals and inserting an inanimate object into her daughter on multiple occasions while at their home in Athens in 2008.

During the trial, the 12-member jury saw a videotaped interview of the victim describing the abuse at age 6. The child, now age 10 and living in another state, also testified in court this week about the abuse, recalling some of what she testified to four years before.

In the videotaped interview presented to the jury, Susan Goggins, executive director of the Morgan County Child Advocacy Center — an expert in interviewing victims of child abuse and child sexual abuse — asks the 6-year-old to recount what happened to her. The interview was conducted in a room at the center while the child and Goggins played with Play-Doh, an activity intended to put the child at ease.

The girl said her mother, on multiple occasions, touched her genitals while she was unclothed on the bed in her mother’s room and also inserted an object into her. The child used euphemisms to refer to her lower regions and also pointed to the areas when describing what transpired.

Bennison will be sentenced Aug. 2 by Circuit Judge James Woodroof Jr., who presided at the trial. She is facing a sentence of 99 years to life in prison because she has two prior felony convictions. [Jean Cole - The News Courier]

Sicko 'Santa' Faces More Charges in North Carolina

John Thomas Peters of Cary, NC, known as "Santa John" for portraying the jolly old elf at malls and holiday events, has been charged with first-degree sexual exploitation of a minor after having inappropriate conversations with a 15 year old girl on the Internet.

Peters, 70, started talking to the girl on December 29, sent her explicit pictures and said he wanted to have sex with her.

Thankfully, the girl's mother contacted authorities and worked with police to set up a meeting at a local McDonalds, where he was arrested on January 11. It is not stated whether he was in full Santa costume at the time of arrest. What is clear, however, is that cameras, ropes and sex toys were seized from his car.

His Facebook page, which has since been deleted, had a friends list mostly comprised of young women, some in provocative poses.

What a twisted old man. To portray a character whose very existence is about bringing joy to children, and to pervert that into victimizing them ... is something beyond sick. Let's hope he spends this Christmas, and many more to come, behind bars where he belongs.

WTF: Alleged child molester gets standing ovation in court

Paul Brinkmann, an eighth-grade math teacher at Stevens Middle School in Port Angeles, WA, was arrested this weekend and booked into the Clallam County Jail for investigation of rape of a child. Still, he did not lack for supporters.

At Brinkmann's hearing Monday, supporters filled the courtroom and even after learning that police said he admitted to molesting the boy, gave him a standing ovation after the hearing.

Documents indicate that the victim, who is listed as a runaway, contacted the police and told detectives that the abuse began when he was 11 and continued for five years, until last summer. During this period, he claims he was raped 10 to 15 times.

The victim also told police he was threatened with violence by Brinkmann.  According to the documents, police said that Brinkmann admitted to molesting the victim, saying "he is the only one I want." [Jeff Van Sant - Q13 FOX News]

So despite the fact that this scumbag has admitted to abusing the boy, people are still showing up to support him? What a bunch of deluded, clueless morons. One supporter even shows up in the comment section of the above linked story, stating Brinkmann "touched almost every one of our lives in this community, [the] majority of those experiences were positive."

Ugh. I don't care if the guy was a beloved member of his community. I don't care if he has a mantle full of Teacher of the Year awards. In the end, the only thing that matters is that he has admitted to victimizing an innocent child. That monstrous act cancels out all of the good he's done in his life.

Brinkmann is currently on suicide watch in jail, after he was caught sawing at his wrists with a comb. I say give the guy a straight razor and let him be done with it. We'd all be better off.

North Carolina Slimeball Arrested on Multiple Child Sex Offense Charges

The dirtbag to your right is Rex Reid Davey, 41, of Kings Mountain, NC.

Davey has been charged with indecent liberties with a child and four counts of first degree sex offense with a child after law enforcement officers said he inappropriately touched a child and had the child perform sex acts.

There is also a photo of Davey posing with the Mayor of Kings Mountain, Rick Murphrey. I'm sure Mr. Murphrey will be thrilled to know he had the pleasure of meeting such a fine, upstanding member of his constituency.

Davey is being held at the Cleveland County Detention Center on a $150,000 bond. His next scheduled court date is July 2. Let's hope he doesn't see the outside of a jail cell in a long, long time. Namely, the rest of his miserable life.

Facebook Sex Predator Sentenced

An Owings Mills, Maryland man, Joseph Anthony Kallash, 31, was sentenced to 15 years in prison for producing pornography with a 15 year old girl he met on Facebook. 

I think that's a fair sentence for a truly disgusting crime that occurs all too often. U.S. Attorney Rod J. Rosenstein said it best:

“Child molesters no longer need to hang out at playgrounds and shopping malls, because they have 24/7 access to children in their bedrooms. If you let your child use a computer, smartphone, iPod, or any type of Internet-connected device without adult supervision, your child is in danger.”

Facebook Page Lands Convicted Sex Offender In Jail

Victor Shawn Cole of Albertville, Alabama was arrested for failing to inform authorities he had a Facebook page.

Cole was convicted of first degree sexual abuse in December of 2002. The Alabama law for sex abuse in the first degree states: "being 16 years old or older, and subjecting another person to sexual contact who is less than 12 years old." Cole was 19 years old at the time.

Due to his status as a sex offender, he was required to register e-mail addresses and cell phone numbers, as well as his Facebook account.
